equipment hierarchy and Maximo CMMS interface development
In just nine months, and in close conjunction with the client, Relcom transformed a 55,000+ unwieldy 4-level hierarchy into a multi level, accurate and user friendly equipment hierarchy. This was achieved with high expertise and diligence on the client side, with Merlyn transforming the hierarchy on the Relcom side. An upload Maximo interface was developed by us, and has successfully uploaded all this excellent work into the CMMS. This has been described by users as a "game changer" for the site.

merlyn updates
Following client feedback, Merlyn is now equipped with two new important features - an "extended attributes" facility which enables an array of fields to be associated with particular "nodes", and also the establishment of custom material strategy "lead times" which form a component of the criticality algorithm. In these ways, even more flexibility is available to assess equipment criticality, and to subsequently avoid or mitigate equipment failures.
